A chairlift ride is half the experience, and we keep ours spinning well past closing day. Float above the treetops as northern Michigan rolls out below you: 400 feet of vertical, forested ridgelines, and wide-open views of the Boyne Valley. It hits different without ski goggles on.

Whether you're heading up to grab a burger at Eagle's Nest, accessing the mountain bike trails and disc golf course, or just going for the view, the ride up is worth the ticket.

Mountain-Sized Appetite?
Perched at the summit of Boyne Mountain, Eagle's Nest is your go-to spot for great food, cold drinks, and unforgettable views. Full up on your favorites, from burgers, sandwiches, or a sweet treat.

World's First Chairlift
The chairlift has deep roots at Boyne Mountain. Our historic Hemlock chair, originally built by Union Pacific Railway in 1937 and purchased from Sun Valley, Idaho, by Boyne founder Everett Kircher, is the world's first chairlift. It's a piece of skiing history sitting right in Boyne Falls, Michigan, and it's part of what makes a ride up the mountain feel like more than just a trip to the top.
