Scenic Chairlift Rides
Take a ride on the historic two-person Hemlock lift. The first chairlift in the world.
When ski season's in full swing, it's easy to overlook the fact that the chairlift ride is half the fun. So each year, during the offseason, we keep our Hemlock lift running - providing stunning panoramic views of the valley. World's First Chairlift
Originally built by the Union Pacific Railway in 1937, our founder, Everett Kircher, pioneered a new experience for Midwest skiers by purchasing this lift from Sun Valley, Idaho, and installing the first chairlift in the Midwest. The Hemlock chair provides access to our mountainside disc golf course, biking trails, and miles of hiking terrain.
