A Ski Resort in the Summertime

Some people might be surprised to hear that Boyne Mountain is a northern Michigan summer destination. After all, for those who've only skied our slopes when they're blanketed in a beautiful winter white, it may seem like an entirely different place when those same slopes are blooming with green - and it is. Between ziplining, paddle boarding, horseback riding, hiking, and swimming, there's a whole heck-of-a-lot to do here in the summertime. Here's what one traveler had to say on TripAdvisor about her stay with us this summer:

"I have never been to northern Michigan before. Was very surprised by scenery. So many trees and local beaches. This resort,is very nice with several restaurants on site. Alpine lifts to ride view from the top is beautiful. Lots of activities for both adults and kids. Indoor water park. A few stores. Stocked catch and release fishing pond. Free Smores to roast over firepits. Very pretty location. Convenient to Mackinaw Island and Boyne City. So much to do, or just relax and enjoy the quiet."
