Bye Bye, Wickets

Touchless, direct-to-lift access with RFID Gates & Go Cards.

Always best to read the instructions first. If you've skied with us this season, you may have noticed, we are doing some things a little differently. After all, it is 2022. Change is good! Wax 'em up and familiarize yourself with these simple rules to make your ski experience more seamless.

How We Do, RFID. Follow along as Cole and Kate show you how to be cool with your Go Card.

Here's The Basics

RFID Has Arrived

Boyne Mountain Resort now uses RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) gates and hand scanners at all lifts across the resort. This touch-free system means paper tickets and wickets are a thing of the past - you'll simply have one Go Card that you can reload with lift tickets throughout the season. In addition, all season passes (including Ikon) will also be RFID-enabled for the 2021/22 winter season.

Buy Online, In Advance

Purchasing lift tickets prior to your arrival secures your slope access. Additionally, the earlier your buy, the more you SAVE! In order to ensure a safe and seamless experience for all of our guests, all lift tickets must be purchased online in advance.

Avoid the Lines, Hit the Snow

Have you picked up your Lift Ticket Go Card yet? You can now avoid the Lift Ticket Window and go straight to one of our new contactless Pick Up Boxes (PUBs) at the base of the mountain. Simply use the QR code on your confirmation email to scan, print, and head straight to the lift.

No Hole Punch Needed

You DO NOT need to openly display your new Go Card or Season Pass. When it's time to ski or ride, place your Go Card in a JACKET pocket, away from credit cards, cell phone, or other RFID-enabled tickets- chest or sleeve pockets are perfect. If you have a small child, you might need to give them a little boost to get their card scanned. It'll be adorable.

Reload Your Go Card

Once you have gotten your Go Card, you can use it season after season - simply purchase your lift ticket online, and your Go Card will be automatically valid on the dates you purchased. If your Go Card is lost or damaged, it's $5 for a replacement.

Our Ask When It Comes to Masks

Masks are recommended for all guests while indoors at Boyne Mountain. Team Members are required to wear face coverings indoors at all times. We encourage you to wear a mask wherever your personal comfort suggests throughout outdoor locations, though masks are not required in outdoor areas.
