The Resort Experience
What is Boyne Mountain?
Boyne Mountain is a four-season resort in Boyne Falls, Michigan. On one property, you get skiing & snowboarding with the Midwest's first 8-place chairlift, the world's longest timber-towered suspension bridge, an indoor waterpark kept at 84°F year-round, two championship golf courses, lakeside dining, boat cruises on Deer Lake, and lodging options ranging from slope-side hotel rooms to private mountain cabins.

Lodging
Boyne Mountain offers hotels, suites, condos, villas, and private mountain cabins. Hotels put you steps from the slopes and the waterpark. Condos and villas on Deer Lake are the right call if your group wants space to spread out and kayak in the morning. The mountain cabins are far enough into the trees to feel like an escape, close enough to everything that you're not actually roughing it.
Book directly with us, and you'll unlock discounted waterpark passes (starting at $30 for overnight guests vs. regular price), discounted SkyBridge tickets, scenic chairlift rides, pool access, fitness rooms, bonfires, and s'mores.
By The Season
Spring & Summer

On-property, the summer activity list runs long: SkyBridge Michigan (open daily from mid-June through early October), ziplining through the tree canopy, guided e-bike tours, horseback riding, kayaking and paddleboarding on Deer Lake, the Deer Lake Boat Cruise on the Miss Donna, aqua cycles, disc golf, hiking, pickleball, scenic cart rentals across the property, two championship golf courses, and Avalanche Bay — always 84 degrees, always open.
Summer activities run mid-May through late October.
Off-property, Boyne Mountain sits in the sweet spot of northern Michigan. Traverse City — wine country, the Cherry Festival, Mission Peninsula, Old Town restaurants — is about an hour south. Petoskey is 20 minutes north, with its Gaslight District and Lake Michigan views. Charlevoix is 30 minutes away. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, one of the most visited natural attractions in the Midwest, is roughly 1.5 hours. The Tunnel of Trees scenic drive along M-119 starts practically at the resort's doorstep.
