Boyne FallsThe closest winery to the resort, and one of the most fun. This family-owned operation sits on 25 acres just south of Petoskey, backed by a 113-acre nature preserve, with a barn-inspired tasting room, an outdoor patio, and a treehouse deck that's made for a summer afternoon.
Walloon Lake Winery
PetoskeyA four-generation family farm that became one of the region's most beloved wineries. The hand-built cordwood tasting room — constructed from timber harvested on the property — is worth the visit on its own. Laid-back atmosphere, beautiful vineyard views, and a patio that's hard to leave.
Blu Dot Farm & Vineyard
CharlevoixBlu Dot is a boutique winery with serious wine chops and an unforgettable setting. The Great Lakes terroir shapes every bottle — primarily dry, cold-hardy varietals with real personality. Tastings are poured from a converted 1973 vintage Airstream, and the whole place is accessible by bike from downtown Charlevoix.
Petoskey Farms Vineyard
PetoskeyThree miles east of downtown Petoskey, Petoskey Farms packs a lot into 22 acres with wine tasting, a coffeehouse, wood-fired pizza, a lavender farm, and a 60-foot covered patio overlooking the rolling countryside. It's the kind of place you show up for a quick tasting and end up staying for lunch.
