Lesson FAQ
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled lesson time, dressed and ready to go. If you need equipment rentals, please allow at least 45 minutes to complete the rental process.
All lessons (private and group) will check in at the SnowSports Academy meeting area located near the base of Boyneland, outside of the Helga House. Meet your instructor at the flag that matches the lesson type you booked (ex., Private, Snowboard Group, Adult Group, Youth Group).
Yes. We encourage you to purchase your lift tickets online, in advance. Please stop at one of our Pick Up Box locations in the base area or at Skier Services to get your new RFID Go Card. If you already have a season pass or Ikon Pass, you can skip this step.
When it's time to ski or ride, place your Go Card in a jacket pocket, away from your cell phone. Do not punch a hole in your Go Card. The RFID gates can read the chip in your jacket, so zip it in and get on the lift.
Once you've gotten your Go Card, you can use it season after season, simply purchase your lift ticket online, and your Go Card will be automatically valid on the dates you purchased.
During a lesson, your child may ride a chairlift with or without an adult or instructor present in the same chair. Chairs may not be equipped with a restraint device. Please notify the instructor if you do not want your child to ride a chairlift.
Gratuities are not included, but are always appreciated if you feel the service warrants them.
We understand plans change, so if you need to adjust your reservation, please call us at 231.549.7155 at least 48 hours in advance.
