Fitness Class Descriptions

Aqua Aerobics

Increase aerobic fitness levels, muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility while enjoying the beautiful outdoors in our heated pool. 

Barre

This class uses a ballet barre and incorporates movements often derived from ballet to increase strength and flexibility while delivering a great workout.

Foam Rolling and Stretch

All levels welcome. We use lots of props for this class. The pace is slow and the music is low. If you want to relax and unwind, this class is for you.

Nature Walk

The group will navigate the many wooded trails, taking in the astounding views of the Boyne Valley and beautiful canopies above. Dress for the elements, we will hike rain or shine.

Sculpt & Burn

A great way to get your day started!  Enjoy strength training for the entire body with bursts of cardio added to burn some calories!  All abilities welcome.

Tabata

One of our favorite ways to work intervals, this high-intensity training is fun, blasts calories, and moves so quickly that it's hard to get bored. For Tabata, you perform an exercise at maximal intensity for 20 seconds, followed by 10 seconds of rest.  You string multiple rounds together to create a total body workout.

Tai Chi

A non-competitive martial art known for its self-defense techniques and health benefits.  Tai chi can improve balance control, fitness and flexibility, reduce pain and alleviate stress and anxiety.  A form of "meditation in motion" that promotes serenity and inner peace.

Therapeutic and Restorative Yoga

We use the science of "Mind and Body" to effectively help relieve chronic pain and stress. This yoga class is for ALL levels of yoga experience. 

Traditional Yoga

Yoga means to "yoke" or "union" in the Sanskrit language.  Yoga is a practice used to promote health, harmony and self-awareness through body movement.

Turbokick

Kickboxing class has evolved blending martial arts, trendy music, and fun choreography. The workout is energizing, yet low-impact.

Vinyasa Yoga

A style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together, moving from one to another, seamlessly, using breath.

Yoga for a Healthy Spine

To improve posture, why not make it a fun, pleasant, enjoyable experience? Join us for corrective posture exercises based on yoga poses and techniques in a relaxing environment.

Zumba

Mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
