Raise your stein. Ski season starts here.
Skitoberfest is Oktoberfest with a mountain accent: brews pouring straight from the keg trailer, Bavarian plates in the food tent, and live music from noon until the lights go down. Then go earn your bragging rights. Compete in stein hoisting, keg throwing, pie eating, and spouse carrying. It all ends at the Pray for Snow Bonfire, where we ask Ullr for a winter full of powder days.
Fall Fun Meets Winter Dreams
It started as an excuse to celebrate fall and beg for an early winter. Seventeen years later, it's the tradition that fills this mountain every October.
Passholders have been showing up for this one since the beginning. Same lawn, same bonfire, same ritual. Skitoberfest isn't just a party. It's how Boyne Mountain says winter is coming.

Carry your spouse across a lawn. Smash a pumpkin. Put away a pie faster than the guy next to you. Or keep it civil with cornhole and face painting while the kids run wild.

Bands from Friday night through Saturday's last call keep the stage busy all weekend. Grab a seat if you want one; nobody's sitting anyway.
