Pet Policy

Boyne Mountain is a family-friendly resort. Guests & team members come from a variety of backgrounds, and not all people are comfortable with pets. Guests with pets are expected to be respectful of all guests & team members around them. If a pet becomes aggressive or a pet owner is unable/unwilling to control their pet, the owner will be asked to remove the pet from the property.

This policy applies to all pets and emotional support animals visiting Boyne Mountain.

  • Boyne Mountain permits reasonable pets ( Dogs, Cats, etc.) that are under the complete control of their owner. Large, aggressive, or dangerous animals/pets are not permitted.
  • This policy does not apply to service animals that are required because of a disability and have been trained for a specific job or task. For more information regarding service animals, please see the Boyne Mountain Service Animal Policy

All pets on Boyne Mountain property must always be under the full control of their owner. Remember, a well-behaved pet at home might act differently in an unfamiliar setting.

Pet owners are expected to clean up after their pets. Pet stations are located throughout the property.

Boyne Mountain does not tolerate animal abuse of any kind. Abusive behavior includes but is not limited to physical abuse, leaving animals in hot vehicles, and leaving pets unattended for long periods. If team members observe any abusive behavior, appropriate authorities may be notified.

Violations of this policy may result in the pet owner being asked to remove their pet from the property or, in some cases, the owner and pet being asked to leave the property.
