Boyne Mountain Names Jason Perl as General Manager

Boyne Mountain Resort officials today announced the appointment of Jason Perl as General Manager.  The announcement was made by Ed Grice, who has served as Boyne Mountain’s President and General Manager for the past 17 years.

Grice will retain his President title and responsibilities allowing for more time to focus on the significant projects and investments laid out in the resort’s recently announced Renaissance 2.0, while handing over the reins on day-to-day operations to Perl.

“We look forward to leveraging Jason’s robust skillset here at Boyne Mountain as we embark on our exciting next chapter in resort developments heightening our guest experience,” said Grice.

Perl has a dynamic background, most recently serving as General Manager of Crotched Mountain in New Hampshire for the past three years.  There, he worked closely with resort leaders driving revenues for the resort while streamlining products and pricing strategies and leading the team through pandemic operations.  Prior to that, Perl spent six years at Mount Snow in Vermont where he started in ski patrol, and progressed into director positions in the areas of lift management, base area operations, and safety.

He holds several certifications including law enforcement from the state of Vermont, outdoor emergency care from the National Ski Patrol, and is a nationally registered paramedic.

“I’m truly honored to be in a position to help lead Boyne Mountain Resort,” said Perl.  “The resort has it all – it’s historically significant, the range of attractions are unmatched, and the future is inspiring with SkyBridge Michigan, the D8 lift, and all the other projects mapped out in Renaissance 2.0.”

“It’s also in an amazing location,” he adds.  “The water color, the beaches – I love lake life almost as much as I love winter.”
