A Boyne Mountain Icon, Reimagined.

BOYNE FALLS, Mich. (April 1, 2023) - Perched on the slope of Victor is a place many of us have come to love, the Victor Waming Hut, affectionately called The Halfway House. Home to a myriad of questionable choices, we bet almost anyone who has visited the mountain has also made a pit stop at this timeless hut. From Carnival Weekend stories of yesteryear to just taking a load off during a bluebird day, The Halfway House has left an imprint on us all, for better or worse.

But, as the saying goes, if you love something, set it free. Which is why today we are stoked to announce The Dweller, the next chapter of our favorite slopeside destination. Tapping into Renaissance 2.0, The Dweller will reflect our commitment to elevating the Boyne Mountain experience. Featuring a craft cocktail bar, The Dweller aims to preserve the timeless memories of enjoying a beverage and good company on the deck. Ample seating, fire pits, modern facilities, and more are in store for The Dweller. 

As of March 31, The Halfway House will be closed to begin its facelift. As a tribute to the legacy this self-proclaimed watering hole has become, we created the hashtag #VictorHalfway to honor the memories made here. We encourage everyone to share their best photos and stories with us!

The 2023/24 season is looking bright. With two new chairlifts and slopeside lounge, you won't want to miss out!
